Chris Abbott is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of 1035 Capital Management, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy with a focus on fundamental small-cap equity investing. He brings over a decade of buy-side experience conducting deep fundamental company analysis, sector and industry research, and financial and quantitative modeling for institutional and high-net-worth clients.

At 1035 Capital Management, Chris is responsible for overall firm leadership and the investment process, including idea generation, portfolio construction, and risk management. His approach emphasizes high-conviction positions in quality small-cap businesses with durable competitive advantages and strong balance sheets.

Before founding 1035 Capital Management, Chris was an investment professional at Argent Capital Management, where he helped oversee more than $220 million in assets under management.

Chris holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation. He earned a Master of Science in Finance and a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Lindenwood University.
